At Creative Spectrum Counseling, I know how much you want the best for your child. You want them to feel happy, confident, and understood, and yet, challenges can feel overwhelming at times. Maybe you’ve watched your child struggle to communicate, manage emotions, or fit into environments that don’t always recognize their strengths. You may feel like you’ve tried everything, and still wonder how to truly help them thrive.
At Creative Spectrum Counseling, I’ll create a supportive space where therapy isn’t intimidating, but engaging. Using creative and movement-based activities, I help children express themselves in new ways, while also supporting you as parents to strengthen family communication and connection.
With a padded floor and a second room with a couch and a one-way-mirror, kids can safely play while adults move between playing, talking, and taking a break or observing.

Families looking to strengthen their communication or connection through play

I help families work through challenges using creativity and play. With less verbal children, we will look at your movements to strengthen nonverbal communication and understanding. Parents and children will explore their emotions together through play and the arts so that you will not only talk about your family’s struggles, but also experience new ways to thrive as a family and find joy in the process.

I use creative movement-based play and the arts in therapy to help your kid or teen reach their goals. These methods are adapted to the age and interests of your child or teen. This is designed to help them find moments of joy and connection while working through their challenges and the emotions that go with them.

Creative social skills groups give kids a protected space with a caring adult to help them develop friendships. Using creative activities kids will have fun while practicing expressing themselves, listening to their peers, and working through any challenges that come up.
